Pantoprazole Long Term Use Protonix (pantoprazole) Long Term Treatment?

Protonix (pantoprazole) long term treatment? - pantoprazole long term use

I had 16 weeks of Protonix (Pantoprazole) 40 mg daily, planned for the treatment of GERD (acid reflux). Then I moved country and the GP, where I now sat on protonix therapy as a long-term maintenance, as he always had complaints. Ive been there for 18 months and I think to leave the medicine, even if, as I am concerned about their long-term security. Has anyone else been on protonix / pantoprazole) for over a year (or year? What your doctor about the safety of the treatment?

I have gastroparesis. I took Protonix for over 2 years. I take a morning and evening. My doctor wants to keep it because it helps my symptoms. I know of no health risk potential long-term debt of the kidney and liver dysfunction. I talk to your doctor and ask what are the side effects are important for long-term use, as I will do the same.
